A long winter's nap, perhaps?

Oh how I would love to say that's what has been keeping me away for so long now! The plain and simple truth is that things got C.R.A.Z.Y. busy here starting in early November. The shop was in full force with Christmas orders and when I wasn't working on that, I was trying to keep up with all the everyday dealings of my two little ones, visit some with family, fulfill my MOPS responsibilities and still spend a wee bit of time with my husband, the poor soul. It was a serious case of MIA there for a while. While it did get a little hairy here and there, for the most part things went really well and I was thrilled with how many of you allowed me to create keepsakes for your families this year! From new babies, to grandparents, to honoring precious children who were lost this past year, to your beloved pets, to newlyweds, I SO loved getting to be a small part of your lives. I awoke on Christmas morning genuinely excited at the thought that so many of you had a photo keepsake on your Christmas tree or were giving them as gifts on that day! Thank you so much for that!

While I didn't think to take many photos of some of the orders in progress, I did snap a couple just to share. Not the best photos, mind you, but honestly, I was delighted that I still had the strength to hold up that camera and take them. Hellooo?? exhaustion. ok, I exaggerate. A little.

I just loved seeing all of your wonderful photos come through my inbox this Christmas season! I feel like I get to peek a little into your lives and catch a small glimpse of each of your own family stories. My heart broke for each of you who lost precious little ones this past year. I was so touched to be given the opportunity to be a small part in honoring and remembering each of them.

This was the shipping scene most days during the month of December....all of your packages lined up like little soldiers waiting to be shipped out....ahhhh...still makes me smile to see them.

So, after the busy-ness of the holidays, and just kind of hitting the proverbial "wall", I FINALLY feel ready to get back to regular life and working on some new things for the shop! My sincerest apologies for any late responses back to messages and emails. I'm officially back to my normal way of conducting shop business! I've been brainstorming alot lately, and I have some great new things on my agenda this year. I'll be fleshing out some new current styles for the shop, as well as, stretching myself a bit more on some completely new ideas. I'm anxious to see what kind of exciting things will take place in 2012!
The first new addition to the shop this year?? Why, that'd be some snappy cupcake toppers for the young cowgirls at heart, ya'll. Giddyup!

Lastly, if you didn't get around to having your Christmas keepsakes made for 2011, there's still time.....AND a discount....but ya gotta head over to Facebook and hit the "like" button for me. Then, this little beauty is all yours. So use it however you see fit....grandmas, baptisms, your favorite pet's birthday....whatever floats your boat! I'd love the opportunity to do it for you!
Happy New Year to you!!
